About This Course
This course helps educators strengthen their well-being through practical, realistic strategies grounded in reflective practice, resilience, and self-care. Drawing on real challenges faced in school environments, participants will explore mindset reframing, daily well-being routines, supportive networks, and meaningful check-in tools. Designed for busy teachers and leaders, the course offers actionable approaches to maintaining balance, clarity, and confidence throughout the academic year.
By the end of this course, learners will have:
- Used simple check‑in strategies to reflect on their well‑being.
- Expanded their understanding of what well‑being truly means.
- Identified personal challenges and recognised what helped them cope.
- Applied techniques to notice, challenge, and reframe unhelpful thoughts.
- Practised celebrating achievements to strengthen confidence and self‑worth.
- Reflected on their support network and how connection supports well‑being.
- Explored realistic self‑care practices suitable for busy school life.
- Chosen at least one ongoing action to support their well‑being.
About the Speaker

Pam Cottman
Pam Cottman is a coach, trainer and speaker helping people build resilience and confidence. A former Assistant Headteacher specialising in pastoral care turned ICF PCC coach, she brings more than 20 years of experience to her work supporting adults and children, leaders and groups, workplaces and schools – both primary and secondary, across private and state sectors in the UK and internationally.
Drawing on her experience and research in schools, Pam developed the Core four of resilience – a framework to help people reconnect with their values, strengths and purpose and learn how to navigate change, challenge, self-doubt and stress with more clarity and confidence.
Pam has collaborated with AISL Harrow International Schools since 2000, supporting new staff and their families with the transition to their new roles and environments, and creating online content for staff looking to build their resilience.
