AISL Academy

Vertical Tutoring

We are excited to share with others how Vertical Tutoring has benefited the children here at Harrow Nanning.

About This Event

The role of a Form Tutor is often a new concept to teachers who did not train within the UK system. It is vital that teachers understand the importance of this role and know the expectations and pastoral responsibilities of the position. This session helps to explore these areas and share ideas on how to be a successful tutor. Over the past decade, the concept of Vertical Tutoring has also been introduced, whereby students mix with other grade levels. This has had an extremely positive influence on the community and well-being of students here at Harrow Nanning, and we are excited to share with others how it has benefited the children within Prep and our growing Upper School.
