This course introduces the core principles of behaviour management, drawing on research within the field. Practical examples of the principles will then be then offered.

About This Course

There is a strong link between student behaviour and learning. This course serves as an introduction to behaviour management and will explore contextualised policy and procedures in each school to encourage behaviours conducive to learning.

In particular, this course introduces the core principles of behaviour management, drawing on research within the field. 

Completing this course will take you approximately 60 minutes. By the end of this course, you will:

  • Establish an appreciation of a set of principles that underpin effective behaviour management.
  • Plan to implement the principles in the context of your school.

Dr. Ahmed Hussain

Chief Education Officer, AISL 

Dr. Ahmed Hussain is the Chief Education Officer with AISL. This position involves leading on educational strategy and operations across the Harrow group of schools in Asia. He is also an Associate Professor at the school of education at Durham University, a member of the editorial board of Research Journal: International Education Theory and Practice, a member of the expert panel for Pudong Education Bureau, Shanghai, and a Fellow of the Charter College for Teaching, UK.
